Product Highlights

Meet Dee the Bear—a bold and lovable buddy made from soft, organic wool.

Wool Knit Buddies are the perfect companion for your baby or toddler as they explore the great big world around them and the softest protector to snuggle with at bedtime.

Dee was lovingly hand-knit by artisans in a women’s collaborative in Kenya, with both community and the environment at heart. The wool is crafted from carefully selected organic, natural fibers, dyed with locally sourced, eco-friendly dyes. Where local dyes aren't available AZO- and cadmium-free, non-toxic alternatives.

To ensure the highest quality, all products are washed at the workshop to fully set the dyes and prevent shrinkage—so your little one can enjoy Gerald in perfect, lasting comfort.

Local Natural Fibers:

We know what is important to you, all his fibers are sourced from sustainable, responsible sources that support Kenya's local economy and take care of our environment.

All his wool is 100% Kenyan, organic and from our local region. The knitters from Kenana Knitters,  are lucky to have access to  beautiful local fibers, and are able to support over 200 spinners and the farmers that they buy from.

The Cotton is 100%, certified organic and sourced from a socially responsible farm in Tanzania. They have strict social and ethical standards, and produce cotton to the highest environmental standards and are SA 8000: 2008 accredited, Oeko Tex, and OCS Certified.
